Starting the Journey from Insecurity to Self-Confidence.
We all have hang ups about ourselves. We believe lies that have either been spoken over us or we’ve conjured up as a result of negative life experiences.
We believe things like,
I’m not smart enough
These thought patterns create insecurities that keep us paralyzed and as a result we don’t fulfill our purpose in life, or we fulfill it minimally. If you want to begin the process of breaking free from insecurity you have to become aware of what is going on in your head, first. What are you thinking about yourself and what are those thoughts causing you to speak about yourself?
These little segments are about Freedom. It doesn’t do you any good to just read the post, listen to the video and then do nothing. That’s why I like to give you ideas as to how you can help yourself.
With that said, I’d like to give you an assignment. In the next week pay extra attention to the thoughts that run through your mind about yourself and pay attention to the things you say about yourself.
Write them all down in a running log for now. Don’t over think it just wrote them down.
Next week we’ll talk about how you can start the journey out of insecurity into self-confidence.
